The president of Osato International Inc., Yuki Hayashi and his wife Toshi Hayashi were invited for the 23rd World Day of the Sick in the Vatican on February 11, 2015. Instituted by Pope John Paul II in 1992, the World Day of the Sick is a day for Catholics to offer prayers for those suffering from illnesses.
Yuki and Toshi Hayashi had the great honor of meeting with Pope Francis with whom they were able to discuss the importance of preventive medicine and the protective effects of Immun’Âge®, the fermented preparation of papaya manufactured by Osato Laboratory Inc. M.Hayashi handed a box of Immun’Âge® to Pope Francis.
The story of Immun’Âge® and the Vatican began in June 2002 when Prof. Luc Montagnier – 2008 Nobel Prize in Medicine, co-discoverer of HIV and President of the World Foundation Aids Research and Prevention – met with Pope John Paul II. Montagnier handed Immun’Âge® to Pope John Paul II who was suffering from Parkinson’s disease, recommending it for improving his well-being and health. It made headlines worldwide. In January 2012, Fabio Canova, the CEO of the Italian distributor of Immun’Âge®, had the great honor of giving Immun’Âge® to Pope Benedict XVI.
Immun’Âge® has been sold in the Vatican pharmacy since 2012.
